Founded in the 13th century, the Fondation de l’Œuvre Notre-Dame is the primary organ dedicated to the maintenance, conservation and restoration of Strasbourg Cathedral.
As part of a collaborative work between Équipe Créative and Cathedral Labs, Shaping Stones is the result of field recording sessions in the workshops of stonecutters and sculptors, arranged into a 35 minutes original electronic soundscape composition retracing the relation between the building and the effect of time.
